What the Company Says

Sponsored message

Grounds for Change is a family owned and operated coffee roasting business located in the Pacific Northwest. We roast our 100% Fair Trade, Organic coffee in small batches to ensure that you receive the freshest coffee possible.

A number of community-based programs in coffee-growing countries directly benefit from the purchase of our coffee. For example, farmers in Peru and Mexico receive a higher price per pound for their coffee (above and beyond the going rate for certified coffee) to help support local domestic violence intervention programs and small business loans for women.

  • Description
Our Obsidian Espresso Blend is a dark-roasted combination of five coffees that are precisely balanced to deliver a bold shot that is complex and full-bodied with notes of dark cherry,
dark chocolate and a hint of smoke. This 100% arabica espresso blend produces a thick crema and is delicious as a straight shot or blended with steamed milk. To make high-quality espresso, we recommend that you use a calibrated burr grinder or order your beans Espresso Grind. This blend is Fair Trade Certified by TransFairUSA and Organic Certified by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and is comprised of coffees that are grown in shaded conditions. All of our coffee is roasted to order and shipped fresh daily. We package in air-tight, foil-lined bags with one-way degassing valves to preserve freshness.
