It works somewhat better than many other non-aluminum products such as Tom's which I find not very effective. But the problem is the expense and the fact that it seems to be used up so quickly. For as expensive as the product is, one should be receiving a product that lasts a good long time. But if you use it everyday it will probably be completely gone within a month.
Recently, I made the switch to aluminum-free deodorant, and this is my favorite. I've used other natural stick deodorants before, but none kept me feeling fresh through a normal day. I splurged on Dr. Hauschka's Fresh Deodorant Roll On at a health food store and am very pleased with it. It even passed my sunbathing test! It smells of sage, but it's not strong, so I doubt others pick up on the scent (I've always been an "unscented" gal anyway). I will buy it again regardless of the high cost. I feel it's worth it and it's got me wanting to try other Dr. Hauschka products!
Love this deodorant. Great scent and worked great for my 30 hour shift!!! Like that I'm using a more natural deodorant that's aluminum free. It's more expensive than drugstore brands but i think it's worth it given the ingredients and effectiveness!
There are many health concerns using chemicals on our skin. I've tried many other deodorants...and tossed them out. While watching Martha Stewart's TV show, she mentioned Dr. Hauschka's as her favorite deodorant. Being a college student in my 50's, (which is stressful and wonderful)...I feel confident it will hold up to my daily pressures. It costs more, but it's worth every penny.
