Not the Shulton scent, but not too bad
Proctor and Gamble purchased the Old Spice brand from Shulton in 1990. A few years later, Old Spice cologne was reformulated and the bottles became plastic, rather than the traditional glass.
The P&G "classic" Old Spice cologne is brighter, more powdery and floral than the original Shulton scent. While not a bad scent, Old Spice "classic" cologne isn't what your grandfather used.
I'd really like to see P&G release a nostalgia version of Old Spice cologne, using the deeper notes of the Shulton formulation and using the traditional glass bottle. I miss the shaving talc and soap, too.
