This product came in a timely manner. I have used this product for several years. It was recommended by my dermatologist, and greatly reduces my particular flaking situation. I normally buy this at Walmart, for less than the $6 charged here, however they are no longer carrying it in my area.
This shipment, however, is not satifactory, The bottles were not in the boxes that this product usually comes in. One of the bottles was not closed firmly, so there was shampoo all over the interior of the box. In addition, this is not "new", that is some of the bottles of shampoo smell odd and are darker than the others, and none appear the pale gold color and very light scent I am used to with this product. They may be from a fire or other type of second hand situation. I know from previous experience that shampoo can go "bad" just like anything else when kept too long or exposed to extreme temperatures, sunlight etc.
If these are fire sale, close out, or other type of seconds it would have been good to know, and would have affected my decision. Not that I would not buy items from those situations, I have, but it would factor into the decision.
I would not purchase this again from this seller, and probably will not purchase from this seller again since I feel there was deception in this sale. Too bad, they carry several items I normally buy.
For the last 5 years I have had psoriasis on my scalp, with it becoming very bad during the last two years. Previously, I could only get mild relief with steroid creams. Within a few days of using this product (which I almost didn't do - I mean, what is 2% aspirin content going to do, anyway, since taking aspirin orally didn't do anything) all of my psoriasis was gone! It was almost with horror that I found out my local grocery store had quit carrying the product. Being without the shampoo for a couple of weeks, I noticed some psoriasis coming back, so I promptly ordered a two-year supply of this shampoo! My doctor said this type of thing happens all the time (where a simple, inexpensive, over-the-counter remedy works better than expensive drugs). Funny thing is, though, that this product should NOT be a secret: other people have had similar results before me! My barber was shocked by the difference it made for my scalp. It is one of the better shampoos out there outside of the psoriasis "miracle cure" I experienced, too. I cannot highly recommend this product enough. When you see commercials on television about expensive psoriasis drugs that have deadly side-effects and that you can only take for six months (just to have relief for a short period of time in your life), it makes you wonder... This product was a godsend to me.
