It really does last quite a while, depending on what you do, and if you use a base and top coat, on average it lasts about a week.
it has a freshly polished , kind of wet looking, for the first few days.
The colors are very bright and cheerful!
It would be nice if amazon showed the colors, but you can look at them at the maybelline site (http://www.maybelline.com) to get a sample of the colors.
The price is quite cheap for a name brand.
