Only stuff that worked for a while

I used to have terrible dandruff. I'd shower in the morning, and my 2pm I'd be flaking like a Northeastern snow-storm. I had used T-gel, head & shoulders, the usual suspects for a while with absolutely no success in making that nasty itchy flaky scalp go away. But then I tried Garnier and there was a noticeable difference. The dandruff went away for days at a time...

Then, one summer in college I bleached my hair on a lark, and the dandruff stopped. Period. So, until you're ready to go and do something really drastic like that, I'd suggest this product. It works great, and leaves your hair in really good condition, considering it's a dandruff shampoo.

Seriously though, don't just go out and bleach your hair because you read a review online. I'm sure I did plenty of damage with those harsh chemicals...so talk to a dermatologist, and maybe a cosmetologist while you're at it.

    The best Anti-dandruff shampoo!

We had tried other brand like head & shoulder but nothing works like this one here, and the price is cheaper $2.90 & the quality is better. We had used this product for 5 years now and we really loved it because it really worked! Unfortunately since about 6 months ago, I can't find them any more in my local target, walmart, giant, shopper and safeway &etc. I have been every where you name it, has this product been discontinued? It seems you can only get it from the online store , where you have to pay $1-$2 more per bottle plus a very costly shipping charge.

Dandruff Maintenance- Good Cost- Great product

I have tried several anti dandruff products, and they all work about the same. Similar to other reviews I've read, this works great for just daily shampooing maintenance of dandruff. It does not cure the symptoms, but it definitely manages it and its not harsh on your hair. It also smells great and makes your hair feel a lot more stronger and healthier after use.

    Worked great initially

This product worked perfectly for me for about a year. Recently, however, I have noticed that my dandruff is really bad again.

    Need more products like this

I have 2 issues when it comes to my hair care.

The first being that while I know I should condition my hair (with a conditioner corresponding to my shampoo) it is such a hassle. It takes too long and I often have poor results with conditioner. One of those results is my next problem: dandruff.

I have tried many remedies to tame my dandruff as I have found that I cannot seem to quite rid myself of it completely. Using normal shampoos and conditioners does anything from having no effect on my hair and scalp to causing outright dandruff catastrophe, something which other Fructis products had done so I was a little nervous to try this.

However, this 2-in-1 solution makes it easier to deal with both my dandruff and lack of patience for conditioning. It's not the best product ever, I'll be honest. I still have to switch shampoos periodically or the dandruff becomes an issue for me but it does help a bit and it smells much nicer than all other dandruff products on the market, hands down.

The hair and scalp are such particular areas that I cannot recommend this to everyone but it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
