I've been using California Baby products even before my first child. I have sensitive skin and try to use products that do NOT contain sodium laureth sulfate. Now I only use California Baby products on my baby since they don't contain SLS, parabens and is biodegradable when it goes down the drain, I'm glad to see it has a 9.5 health performance rating here. These products are also available in Target and Whole Foods, which makes stocking up that much more convenient!
I don't have kids but I do have sensitive skin and have been trying to avoid bad ingredients. I have wavy hair that isn't too thick. I love everything about this shampoo, although it would be great if it had a little added moisture - it doesn't strip at all but it doesn't add moisture, which would be great for winter. I use a rich conditioner to make up for it. Great scent!
I love the California baby products and I've used them on my two kids as well as myself. The shampoo is a great all purpose body wash. It smells great and doesn't leave much scent behind. The all natural no tears formula is so much better than chemicals to keep the eyes from stinging.
I like the ingredients in this product. I like the ingredients not in this product even more. No parabens or anything else bad for my baby or me. I also like the fresh scent and the way it feels on your skin. A little goes a long way as it lathers really well.
Watch for sizing of bottle! They have the picture of the large bottle, but send you the tiny 8oz in the mail, while charging what it costs for the large one. VERY disappointed with the seller!
This product is low on the scale of toxicity. It is better for babies than most of the shampoos out there. It smells good and cleans effectively.
I've been using this on my baby since her belly button fell off and she's almost 5 months old now. There have been times when it ran down her soapy little forehead and gotten right in her eyes - Well, not a flinch, a squint, or a squeal what so ever! It didn't even make her eyes the slightest bit pink or irritated. I just rinsed her eyes with a little clean water and she was as happy as can be. That alone makes it worth the money! Plus a very little goes a long way and it rinses clean easily - There is never any residue. I can also go on and on about how incredibly superior the ingredients are to other "natural" baby washes. I won't use anything other than California Baby products on my baby!
I love California Baby bath products. We've been using them for years (our oldest is now 10). They smell wonderful, they work great, and they last a long time. The shampoo is completely tear free. You don't need to use a lot of the shampoo for it to work well. Best yet, the products are all natural; you don't need a degree in biochemistry to understand the ingredient list.
If you are unfamiliar with the line, be sure to check out the calendula cream, the calming diaper rash cream, and my favorite product, the Overtired and Cranky spritzer (works wonders!).
