Burt's Bee's are all great products. The jewelweed in this product is known for washing off the "poison residue" after exposure. it will help keep it from spreading. It is important to use immediately after exposure so if you even think you may have been exposed, what with this.
We found a homeopathic poison ivy spray made from water and the itching goes away immediately and dries up very quickly if you don't get the poison ivy oil washed off quickly enough. My husband is very sensitive so we have a lot of experience with poison ivy.
I contracted poison oak on a recent camping trip, and was having no luck with over the counter ointments and treatments. This soap works as Poison Ivy relief and also as a prevention. Got it fast and at a fair price.
Not only does this stuff work right after you have been exposed, but if you lather it up and leave it on the rash to dry, it drys up the rash. I always keep it on hand now...
This soap works almost instantaneously to stop the itching of poison ivy and all of the other similar types of plants in that same family. I.E. poison oak, poison sumac, ect.
It has a wonderful smoky aroma that my children love. That really makes it easier for my to get them to use it.
