I adore the smell of this lotion, but that's about it. The lotion goes on very lightweight, with not nearly enough moisturizing or oomph for rough, dry feet. It feels light and silky like an ordinary body lotion, not rich and hydrating like a foot lotion should be. Plus, the natural peppermint oil is naturally very irritating to eyes, so the tube says to wash hands after use. That is such a bummer, because who wants to wash off perfectly good moisturizer? The natural tendency is to rub any excess into your hands to give them a boost, too. That also means that you can forget about crawling into bed at the end of a long day and giving your feet a treat so they can hydrate while you sleep.
A lovely idea, but the execution of this lotion is wrong, and I personally would not recommend it unless you (a) don't really care if it moisturizes deeply and (b) are not bothered by the hand-washing thing.
