stop pushing artificial sweetener products over products with sugar

I find that GoodGuide is automatically pushing artificial sugar products (that are made in factories and have unknown health impacts) over products with natural sugar. The artificial sugar products get higher health scores.

What do people think about this?

Rate meat manufacturers!

I am SUPER excited about your site. Only thing I'm disappointed to see is there is no rating of meat manufacturers. For instance, I would love to see a comparison with Purdue Chicken vs GoldnPlump All Natural, etc. Hope to see this added in the future!

Make known internationally

Should simplify the registration to become a member. Should have a monthly news letter and make known to every one in the planet about this excellent effort.

Your most recent email

Was about Halloween hair dye, but the link took me to a page about general hair dye products. Seems to me that this link should have gone to a page about dyes I might be about to buy my kids for their costumes.

add recycle related information

Dear GoodGuide,

We recently developed a iPhone-recycle guide for about 700 products. It's based on the recycle system and rules in the Netherlands. Basically you choose a product and the app tells you what the best way is to recycle it. A rubber tyre should.....because...., A green glass bottle should......because...... Don't put your oven-save-glass in the glassrecycling as this gives problems during the process. And so on. The idea would be adding this type of information to each product. As the choices you make in the store are very important for the amount and type of waste this might be interesting...
